Israel struck the Syrian capital, Damascus
Israeli warplanes launched an attack on Damascus, the capital of Syria. In a statement regarding the attack, which targeted a building and was accompanied by two loud explosions, Israeli Defense Minister Katz threatened, "Ahmed Shara will see Israeli planes flying above."
