NPS 2022 Annual Overall Rating Report of Aramark at Yosemite
In 2022 Aramark at Yosemite, aka Yosemite Hospitality, received a Marginal score on the NPS's Annual Overall Rating(AOR) Report. The 2023 AOR has not been released yet.
NOTE - I received all of NPS's Annual Overall Rating(AOR) Reports on Aramark at Yosemite this last Monday the 26th of February. I have been told by Yosemite's Freedom of Information Act Officer that these will be posted for public review soon. Along with the 2023 AOR Report.
I am posting this report page by page in it's entirety below, so that others can begin to see how horribly Aramark is mismanaging their contract in Yosemite.
I am extremely concerned that issues documented by NPS in this AOR Report are just the tip of the iceberg as far as problems in Yosemite go. A good example of this is the fact that year in and year out, a majority of food service facilities do not seem to be getting even one Health Inspection. Meanwhile there have been multiple Noro Virus outbreak connected to these same facilities since Aramark has been in charge of the concessions Contract in Yosemite. As well as a constant pattern of Aramark not reporting major problems and then not fixing issues properly. Often leaving water damage and mold to such important facilities - Curry Village, the Ahwahnee, and the Lodge have all had issues like this in recent years. Aramark has not reported these issues and seems to have a major problem with fixing these ongoing maintenance issues.
