Sackanda - the Ancient Future of our Sacramento River Basin
Sakanda - Ancient Future artistic signs and symbols along our Sacramento River Basin help preserve the Black Church in Gold Rush California
"Greener Tomorrow for the Youth" is the theme for our 2023 Golden Harvest Parade and Festival
Sackanda Village will showcase the past, present and future of California Pioneers of Pan African Ancestry in the vast Sacramento River Basin.
From ancient natural pyramids of Mt. Shastina and Mt. Shasta to the subterranean Pacific mountain peak of the Farrolone Islands, our Sacramento River Basin sacred spiritual waters continue to be utilized by the Black Church of Gold Rush California (1840-1870). Come discover our Northern California Divine 9 Interfaith places of worship and community organizing.
The special solid, liquid and atmospheric aspect of holy water connects Ancient Pan African concepts to the new world in the Land of Califia to distant future generations through spirit.
Everyone is invited to experience our Sakanda Village, our Ancient Future build toward a "Greener Tomorrow for the Youth"
