THE LORAX is an iconic Earth Day-themed picture book penned and illustrated by Dr. Seuss. It's meant to show kids how they should repair the environment after The Industrial Revolution and Ikea. It's quite a popular read in schools; however, there is a cogent deconstruction of the tale that points the way to an alternative and much better ending that doesn't depend upon placing the burden of Climate Change and environmental rescue upon kids, and I'd like to share that reinterpretation of the story with you.
