The Commons SF and the San Francisco School of Real Estate host:

"A short talk with Q&A about how do-gooderism without hard thinking exacerbates problems."

In this episode we'll survey how Prop 13 (which locks in property tax assessments at time of purchase) leads to real estate price inflation, and how, now that the state of California is making down payments for first-time home buyers, California bureaucracy (and not just private sector rent-seeking affordability assassins) will block reform of Prop 13. All in the name of do-gooderism.

See the link to the State of California well-intentioned program below, then show up at Tuesday evening's virtual program to see what, despite the garrote in hand under the cloak's cover, you can do to reform Prop 13.
