The Senior Home Repair Program provides up to $50,000 in the the form of a 100% forgivable loan for roof repair or replacement, heating system repair or replacement, or accessibility modifications such as a stair lift or walk-in bathtub. Open to homeowners disabled or over age 55 who live in eligible census tracts with annual income not greater than 120% of the local AMI [1 person household = $116,400, 2 person household = $133,000].

As long as the homeowner remains in the home for 3 years after the repair and completes a brief estate planning course [available by phone], the entire loan is forgiven. There is NO upfront cost or monthly fees at any time during the life of the loan - $0 out of pocket expense for the homeowner.

We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
