the ambitious meaning of the
Preamble to the Declaration of Independence,
deliberating what is meant now by “all men”
and by “the unalienable [right to] life”

There is an argument to be made that the USA was born of a cosmic ideal, expressed above in the quote from
The Declaration of Independence.

There are those who assert that the nation loses its status as a frontline leader when it falters in expanding the inclusionary sense of the phrase “all men,” and when the meaning of the “right to life” is abstracted from equality of access to land. This symposium affords you the opportunity to deliberate these points.
