Equal Housing for Women

Dear Laura Haverty,

After reading your essay on women who face housing discrimination, I gained a much greater understanding of how women struggle with housing problems while also facing sexual harassment and assault. For my senior seminar course at Sonoma State University, I am conducting my own study on women working in low-wage occupations who want to advance to management or leadership positions. I was able to establish connections between our study and actually construct a better case within my own research topic while reading your post. Maternity leave times are one of the most typical concerns I observe in workplaces where women are discriminated against. I've read a lot of cases when corporations fired women because they were unable to work due to having a kid. This is utterly unacceptable and must be corrected and viewed through a much broader lens all throughout the world.
