In 2021, membership voted on a Bylaws proposal from New Day Pacifica.
The Bylaws were approved by solid and democratic majority of 6820 to 5471 (55% to 45%); however, according to the National Election Supervisor, and the Pacifica Counsel, the new bylaws were NOT approved because of their questionable interpretation of California law and the existing bylaws.
This ruling was especially concerning because of issues with other elections over the past 12 years.
