Rally in support of increased care for the mentally ill instead of jails : Indybay

Join us for a rally to support our demand for more hospitals and homes not streets and expanding jails to house our seriously mentally ill friends and family members.The rally, which will feature speakers, music and art, will be followed by a sleep-in until the Tuesday Alameda County Board of Supervisors meeting.

We will then address the need for a public meeting to hear our viewpoints before millions in funds are allocated to expanding jails.
