More info & RSVP: https://museumca.org/2022/virtual-healing-circle

In response to the ongoing incidents of violence targeting the AAPI community, join us virtually to connect and reflect together in a Zoom healing circle facilitated by Kelsey “Lotus” Wong of Lotus Awakens and Christine Juang. This interactive healing experience will incorporate art, movement, meditation, reflection, and meaningful dialogue.

Audiences of all ages, generations, identities, and life experiences are welcome to participate.

This virtual program is free with an RSVP! You will receive a zoom link upon registering.

Facilitator Bios:

Kelsey “Lotus” Wong is an Artist of Life and Soulpreneur with 11 years of experience guiding and gathering groups to grow and heal together. With a passionate curiosity for self and organizational actualization, Lotus is committed to helping people wake up to their true selves, expand their creative capacities, and reclaim love and liberation as their birthright. In practice, Lotus has been on her own journey of growth and self-discovery, traveling and working in over 25 countries from Japan to Iceland to Mexico. This journey led her to create SOUL (School of Unconditional Love) a BIPOC-centered learning platform offering courses, coaching and community gatherings on love, liberation and healing. Lotus is also the Co-host of This Intentional Life, a soul provoking podcast featuring women of color living wholeheartedly. Beyond her personal ventures, Lotus is the People & Culture Manager at visionary non-profit, Common Future, committed to uplifting local leaders and (re)building an economy that works for all. Lotus is also a freelance consultant and facilitator for several global teams such as LATE NITE ART, Holistic Underground & INDIVIDUAL.

Christine Juang is a community-builder, creative, non-profit program manager, and proud Taiwanese-American woman living on Ohlone/Ramaytush land, currently known as San Francisco, California. She is passionate about empowering AAPI communities to more deeply engage with issues of social & racial justice, and works to help individuals and organizations embody values of inclusivity & equity. Christine is the Director of Community Education & Outreach with Hate is a Virus and is the host of Real Talk Tuesdays. Through her work with Project by Project SF as the former Director of Volunteer Management, she spearheaded leadership curriculum centered on exploring AAPI identity & civic engagement. In her full-time work, Christine is currently a Senior Program Manager at Safe & Sound working to prevent child abuse by addressing systemic root causes that impact marginalized families.
