Congress is coming back to Washington D.C. on Monday, Nov 15 and we need to meet them there to demand they Build Back Better from the Bottom Up and pass voting protections to save our democracy from coordinated attacks across the country.

This is our final shot to make sure all of the lifesaving elements and programs are included in the plan:

--6 million 3- & 4 year-olds will benefit from universal pre-K

--4 million people get health insurance by expanding Medicaid

--Extends Child Tax Credit for millions of parents

--$250 million saved by giving government power to negotiate drug prices

--4-week paid family and medical leave

The BBB is not THE solution, but is an important step, in a series of steps, in order to invest in the lives and livelihoods of the people-- especially the 140 million poor and low-income people in this country.

This is moment to make our voices heard and tell Congress to #HoldTheLine on BBB and pass voting protections NOW!

CALL TO ACTION: END THE FILIBUSTER

The PPC is demanding an end to the filibuster rule which is blocking passage of voting rights.

Tell our CA senators that the filibuster -- a Jim Crow era relic -- must end to allow voting rights legislation. Passage of the Freedom to Vote Act must happen now! We also must pass legislation for climate change and human infrastructure, such as Medicare expansion,
child care, and more.
