A secret deal for the Navajo Nation to purchase the bankrupt Remington Arms for $300 million during the pandemic in June, would have resulted in up to $10 million for a contracted firm, documents show. Months later, Remington Arms was sold to others for a mere $155 million, with the sales going to cover its debts.

A secret deal for the Navajo Nation to purchase the bankrupt Remington Arms for $300 million during the pandemic in June, would have resulted in up to $10 million for a contracted firm.

Documents obtained by Censored News reveal the secret deal promoted to the Navajo Budget and Finance Committee.

This came as Dine' were sick and dying from the coronavirus, and many were too weak to haul water or travel for food.

Months later, Remington Arms was sold to others for a mere $155 million, with the sales going to cover its debts.

Remington Arms faced lawsuits for mass murders with automatic weapons, including the murder of children at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Conn.
