Nazi Trump May Campaign to Recall Gov Newsom

by Never Forgive, Never Forget
March 17, 2021 is the official filing deadline for the Republican Recall petitions to recall Democratic Gov Newsom and the Republican Party claims they have enough because the threshold is so low, about 12% of voters in the last election. It should be 25% of voters. AUTOMATICALLY, if the recall succeeds, a Republican governor will be installed who by definition opposes an increase in the minimum wage, opposes abortion, and supports Nazi Trump.

We all have our criticisms of the Democratic Party and Governor Newsom but a recall will make everything worse as ONLY a Republican governor can be installed.

The problem with recalls is that they depend on low voter turnout so the Democratic Party has launched its No on the Recall campaign now. Senator Bernie Sanders opposes the recall as do many others. See https://stoptherepublicanrecall.com/opponents/
Bernie won the California and San Francisco Democratic primary.

The numbers are as follows: In November 2020, we had the highest voter turnout in California history thanks to vote by mail ballots mailed to every registered voter in California, resulting in over 17 million people voting, including 11 million voting for Democrat Biden for president and 6 million voting for Nazi Trump for president. We can be sure most of the 6 million Nazi voters will vote and vote for the recall and for a Republican to immediately replace Governor Newsom.

This video does an excellent job of linking the Nazi Republican Party with the attempted coup on January 6, 2021 by the fascist seditious insurrectionists. Anyone who thinks the Republican Party can deliver anything more than the horrors that Nazi Trump delivered lives in a fantasy world. The Republican Party does not believe in climate change and Nazi Trump had the unmitigated gall to state while visiting California during the campaign that “science does not know” while our state was again experiencing horrific forest fires. Nazi Trump’s supporters promoted anti-Semitic lies about how the forest fires started.

The Republican Party is also filled with people who oppose being vaccinated against COVID19 and against wearing masks, both of which save lives. Vaccines are not always good but the vaccine against COVID19 is making it possible to reopen sooner rather than later so please get your vaccine against COVID19. The Republican Party is also anti-labor, including opposing any increase in the minimum wage, anti-abortion, and against everything that makes us proud to be Californians. California stopped voting Republican for president in 1992 because it has been a home for the women’s liberation and gay liberation movements, all other civil rights movements, the environmental movement and the labor movement. It was of course, Gavin Newsom, as mayor of San Francisco, who actively supported same sex marriage.

Newsom has done a good job of using FEMA money to house the homeless in hotels, which we hope will become permanent. He has also done a good job at promoting testing and vaccination sites.

If anyone thinks they can do better, they can and should wait for the governor’s election in 2022. The Republicans refuse to wait because they know they cannot win a high voter turnout election which the governor’s general election always is.

No matter which party you are registered in, or if you are not registered in any party, you have to vote NO ON THE RECALL and PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. This expensive, outrageous fascist recall will probably be in June 2021.

I agree, absolutely -- vote NO on the Recall!

However, "theoretically", another Democrat (or even an independent of a "third party" candidate) could also replace Newsom if the recall is approved, although that seems pretty unlikely. For example, back in 2003, Lt. Govenor Cruz Bustamante, who was a Democrat, ran in the recall election against Democrat Gray Davis. (His slogan was, "Vote No on recall, vote Yes on Bustamante"). But of course Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger came in ahead of Bustamante, so the result ended up being that a Republican did replace a Democrat as Governor. And this time, I agree that it's unlikely that any "major" (or "electable") Democrat will be running, so yes, if the recall does get approved, then we will in fact end up with a Republican.

Finally, it looks like the recall election itself will take place sometime between August and December of this year (for example, see: https://calmatters.org/explainers/recalling-california-governor-explained/ ).

by me
Newsome has supported the oil industry so lovingly, they will have to bail him out. I tried but had a hard time finding any Democrat eager to save him. Too bad. California knows how to screw itself over and again. The billionaires stay happy, everyone else gets fucked.
