Oh the rent is high
And the pocket is empty;
You're on the short end
Of the wage scale now;
So the Lefties wail
And inveigh against Ka-
Pi-tal-ism, but hush
Little Baby, don't you cry!

Come along on a walking tour which surveys SF social movement history on its way to identifying the privatization of land values as a sufficient explanation for most of what's going wrong in The City.

By tour's end you'll have a bead on what would settle Big Money's hash, satisfy campaign finance reform, preponderantly fund desirable public programs, raise wages, and enable folks to live in the home they deserve.

It's a scouring of Prop 13 (the 1978 property tax legislation enshrining exorbitant privilege in private land ownership) that will scuttle pasty-faced rote lib-lab-russet homilies as well as Trump-lovin' double-speak conservo-reactionary parroting. It's FREE, but rigorous. Not for the feint [sic] of heart.
