Hope and Urgency: Art Show for Climate Action

When: September 6 at 6:00 PM – September 8 at 3:00 PM

Gallery: The Smoking Nun, 1114 Folsom St, San Francisco, California 94103

Submit your art and attend our pop-up gallery: Hope and Urgency: an art show for climate action!

There are so many ways to feel connected to the mobilization for climate action, and we want to help visualize that engagement. This show will hold a space to reflect on the current climate crisis, to inspire us to act, to showcase creative release, and to bring together and support our environmental, social justice, and artistic communities.

Art submissions are due August 31st; go to tinyurl.com/hopeandurgency for more information and to submit!

The pop-up will be open September 6-8th. We have a suggested donation at the door $5-15 sliding scale. Proceeds from the show will go to the Sunrise Bay Area Hub and the gallery space so thoughtfully accommodating us, The Smoking Nun!

***COME TO OUR OPENING RECEPTION AND CELEBRATION***

Friday, 9/6 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. for art, music, wine, snacks, and mingling! The totally non-mandatory dress code is ~ecochic~!
