Our speaker for this month's meeting is Linda Estelí Méndez Barrientos, from the UC Davis Department for Environmental Policy and Behavior. Linda has spent a decade studying water governance and the implementation of progressive water reforms in such locations as Nicaragua, Senegal, South Africa and Spain. She is currently focused on groundwater management in California, including the home of our two flipped districts, CA-10 and CA-21. This is a great opportunity for us to inform ourselves about this complicated issue.
