OUR CITY! Housing Justice in San Francisco Friday, August 23, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Why: Because there’s no connection between housing costs and working peoples’ wages, and that just ain’t right. Almighty Zeus is pissed off about this and is sending trusty Mercury down with a special message on housing justice. Serving Flora’s Gypsy Queen Lentil-Plantain Stew (a secret family recipe) over basmati rice for $5, merely. Happy Hour prices on draft beer. Be there, or watch out for the lighting bolts! Donations to benefit the Eviction Defense Collaborative The Eviction Defense Collaborative provides emergency legal services and rental assistance to over 5,000 tenants in San Francisco every year.
