TV star and bestselling author, Charlotte Laws, signs copies of Undercover Debutante: The Search for My Birth Parents and a Bald Husband at Barnes & Noble in Calabasas, CA on August 24, noon – 3 pm. This memoir recently won a Publisher's Weekly award and recounts Charlotte's usually hilarious—yet sometimes frightening or heartbreaking—escapades in Los Angeles. She breaks the law to find her biological parents, develops the three-step persistence plan to land a husband, and outsmarts a gunman with a semi-automatic rifle. She works as a private eye, finagles past the Secret Service to interview the president, and goes on a date with a famous sex symbol who later dies from drug abuse.

Charlotte is known throughout the world for her activism (fighting for woman, animals, and the LGBTQ community). She is often called the “Erin Brockovich of revenge porn” and was voted one of the 30 fiercest women in the world by Buzzfeed. NBC describes her as a crusader, and MSNBC calls her a hero. She is a vegan and has been an animal activist for 40 years.

Charlotte, former star of the NBC show “The Filter,” currently works as a political pundit on BBC television. She has appeared on Oprah, Nightline, Larry King Live, The Late Show, Fox News, CNN, and more. Her articles have been published in the Washington Post, the LA Times, Salon, Newsweek, the Los Angeles Daily News, and Huffington Post, to name a few.

Come meet Charlotte on August 24! Her birth mom will also be at the event! Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
