Signs Seen in San Francisco on Day of Action to Close the Camps Pt. II

On July 2, tens of thousands of people attended over 175 protests across the US to call on the Trump administration to close detention camps where migrants are being held under horrific conditions. In San Francisco an estimated 1,000 protesters demanded that their representatives close the camps, stop funding family detention and deportation, bear witness and reunite families.

They started at 1 Post St. at Sen. Dianne Feinstein's office, then marched to 7th and Mission where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has an office in the Federal building. There they chanted "send someone down" repeatedly, demanding that a staffer appear to hear their demands.
