Can we develop a “fair trade” policy that prioritizes worker rights and the environment to replace the current “free trade” agenda allowing corporations to freely cross borders, exploit workers, pollute and diminish our earth’s natural resources, while diminishing democratic rights under a global corporate legal structure that undermines local, state and national laws?

Our speakers will give an update on current US trade issues and the upcoming Congressional review of Trumps NAFTA renegotiation, as well as consider the potential of the Green New Deal.

SPEAKERS:
Will Wiltschko, Director, California Trade Justice Coalition
Catherine Houston, United Steel Workers Rapid Response & Women of Steel Coordinator
Rand Wrobel, Chief Information Officer, 350 Bay Area
