San Francisco Declaration of Climate Emergency

Press conference at noon, before Board of Supervisors meeting at 2, at which Superviser Mandelman will introduce San Francisco's Declaration of Climate Emergency, similar to what Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond & Santa Cruz have done - to put the City on an accelerated path to carbon neutrality via a just transition and regional collaboration. This is an important first step; it will be followed by a data- and science-rich report from the SF Dept. of the Environment and then a detailed action plan which will need community-wide input as it is implemented.
