About Youth Art Exchange and xSpace Arts Hub:

Youth Art Exchange ( sparks a shared creative practice between professional artists and public high school students, furthering youth as leaders, thinkers, and artists in San Francisco. To accomplish this, Youth Art Exchange offers citywide arts education programming and events across disciplines such as architecture, photography, fashion design, printmaking, music production, and dance.

[x]space ( was transformed from a meat market (Chuck’s Market) that was shuttered for nearly a decade, and is focused on creative exchange between artists and community. It is an active arts center by Youth Art Exchange with free classes and programming for San Francisco public high school students, public workshops, a youth printshop, ArtSpan’s artist studios, an art gallery, community meeting space, and venue rentals.
