Report back from the Mexico - U.S. border
Liduina Vannes and Bruce Neuburger will discuss their work with the Annunciation House refugee center at El Paso in December. While another visitor to the border will discuss work in the San Ysidro/Tijuana area.
The discussion will cover conditions for refugees at the border, the work of the refugee center, things learned from the refugee families from Honduras, Guatemala and elsewhere, including their treatment by ICE. Also discussed will be the historical background of today's migration and the shutdown over the wall.
For those interested in looking for some way to help there will be information on volunteering and supporting refugee work.
