Come visit mustangs!

Join us for a Mustang Meditation Benefit with Gourmet Brunch with Wild Alaskan Salmon, Bagels and Deluxe Vegan treats too! Set New Year's Intentions and support a great cause!

Happy New Year! As we welcome in this New Year 2019, let it be one of hope and community and a time of collaboration and working in harmony with nature. There is a power in gathering together to support and learn from each other. New Year is a time for setting intentions, to take account of our successes and challenges of the year. I want to thank all of you for your support. I am proud to be organizing this project for Indigenous Climate Wisdom to help us in the Bay Area and across California to learn how we can mitigate climate change through deepening our connection to the sacred, both internally and externally.

The benefit event this Sunday will include visiting and feeding wild mustangs that were rescued from Wyoming, Nevada and California wild lands. The purity and intensity that is carried in their spirits will ignite in you this connection to a previous time, where the land was pristine, immense and considered sacred. We will also do a meditation, share our intentions and talk about the work we are doing with wise Andean Mamas (meaning sun in the indigenous Kogi language). They teach us to embody and embrace the sacred within and outside of us and to nourish that relationship with sensitive eco-systems as a way of mitigating climate change. It is much more than a numbers game. We can't outsmart nature. We are being asked to remember how we once lived working in harmony with nature rather than trying to assert our dominance in competition.

We will be offering Alaskan salmon and organic bagels. There will also be vegan and gluten free treats. All ages welcome. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday January 27th from 12 noon – 3pm. Suggested donations $30 - $100. RSVPs requested to ensure food for all.
