The Diggers of 1649 called for occupying the commons lands as a birthright of the people, the humble, the dirt poor, the renters of San Francisco.
Come along on a walking tour introducing a practical way to restore the earth to the people, namely socializing through taxation (or collecting the land value as public rent, if you shy from taxes)the value of "location, location, location."
Donald Trump hates the plan, so you might like it. However, Jim Hightower thinks you're not educated enough to support the plan. Is he right? It's too radical for Bernie, so maybe putting an "Eat the Rich" bumper sticker on your Prius is where it's at. KPFA broadcasts everything except collecting the land rent, so maybe during their next pledge drive you should just send your pledge to their landlord. The Democrats--everyone of 'em--shuffle, harumpf, and er change the subject, so perhaps Prop 13 reformation ain't really worth the trouble, except for that commercial split roll thing, since um treating Newsom and Ammiano's land values as though they were the people's might result in in-fill . . . in their living rooms. And OCCUPY? Well, let's just say that its demands ended at the private property line . . .you know, the other side of that No Trespassing sign Woody Guthrie sung about.

But if you're a Digger-minded sort, you'll dig this FREE walking tour.
