This event is part of the campaign to end sanctions against Venezuela. President Trup, OAS head Luis Almagro, and Sen. Marco Rubio have raised the possibility of military intervention in Venezuela. Steve Ellner, the speaker at the event, has taught economic history in Venezuela and is the author of numerous books and articles on the history and politics of Venezuela. There will be oppportunity for questions and discussions after his presentation.
