We REFUSE to Accept a Fascist America!
The Trump/Pence regime has already done shocking damage: from Trump’s Muslim Ban to his open encouragement of murderous white supremacists and Nazis; from his flippant threats of nuclear annihilation to his vile misogyny, threats against the media, and even tearing immigrant children from parents. If left in power, the Trump/Pence regime will effect a thoroughly reactionary restructuring of society. Nothing short of removing this entire regime will stop this nightmare. Now, with the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the Trump/Pence regime is poised to impose an extreme and long-lastingtransformation of the highest court in this country—a major leap in the consolidation of fascism.
This must be stopped!
It’s not just that Kavanaugh would eviscerate women’s fundamental right to decide for themselves whether to bear children, which alone would be reason enough for millions to rise in massive political revolt. With Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court would be a rubber stamp to the whole Trump/Pence agenda: shredding the separation of church and state in favor of Christian fascism against women, LGBTQ people, science, and the environment; backing xenophobic ethnic cleansing of immigrants and terror against Black people to “Make America WHITE Again”; eviscerating civil liberties, the separation of powers, and the rule of law; unleashing even more vicious torture and military aggression against the people of the world.
The time to act is NOW—this nomination must be STOPPED! If Trump is allowed to consolidate a fascist Supreme Court, we will be fighting on much more difficult and dangerous ground. And if this goes down without a huge social battle to STOP it, we will be fighting under conditions where accommodation, not resistance, has greater initiative.
We must put ourselves on the line—through acts of nonviolent political protest and courageous resistance—to stop this confirmation.
Most of all, we must do this in a way that builds the unity and strength needed to launch a nationwide struggle beginning with tens of thousands in cities across the country that continue day after day and DO NOT STOP until the demand—This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!—is met. All who want to fight for a better future need to forge the unity to stop this fascism before it is too late.

One of the signs in this picture states "Brock Turners Grow Up to be Brett Kavanaughs." Brock Turner came from a lower middle class family, with the mother a nurse and the father a civil engineer, which could not afford to pay for college for their 3 children. The older 2 went into debt for college. Brock Turner got a partial swimming scholarship to Stanford, with the parents barely able to pay the balance. He was under stress to be both an Olympic swimmer and become a medical doctor and came home crying at Christmas time because of the stress. His parents did not put a stop to the swimming nonsense, having been sold the fantasy of the Olympics, which should be abolished, and let him return to swanky Stanford. He went to a stupid party where he and the woman he assaulted both got drunk. This female writer knows that women who drink alcohol cannot then claim rape because being voluntarily drunk is 100% contributory negligence. This female writer also knows to avoid parties as nothing worthwhile occurs there. Now Turner has to register as a sex offender and can never work for a living, making him a liability to taxpayers. The sex offender list should be abolished as should the entire prison punishment system not only because they are barbaric but also because they waste our tax dollars. If there is no rehabilitation so that the convicted person becomes a productive member of society within 5 years or less of imprisonment, then it is a waste of our tax dollars. Parents should teach their children to avoid alcohol as it is poison and to avoid parties as they are a profound waste of time and guaranteed to lead to serious problems.
Brett Kavanaugh's parents were lawyers who could send him to an expensive Catholic high school. Kavanaugh is now a millionaire with a lifetime judgeship.
The real question we must ask is what were 62 million people thinking when they voted for Nazi Trump? Did they think his viciously racist name-calling of Mexicans qualified him to be president? We are now down to 42 million voters who support Trump. They apparently like the fact that a person with the intellect of an 8 year old and reactionary politics sits in the president's office. This is a sign of a profoundly backward country.
