Vermillion Club literary bicycle pop-up real estate debacle competition

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Location Details:
Begins at 6 pm at Jack Kerouac Alley adjacent to City Lights Bookstore (261 Columbus Avenue). After readings there, progresses as the evening indicates from bookstore to bookstore, from bakery to coffeehouse

San Francisco's vanguard political fiction writers' group takes to the bicycle for a progressive reading of excerpts from novels and the whole of short stories that by turns acerbically and humorously 1)scandalize the so-slow resistance to the San Francisco real estate debacle, and 2)confront the smugly conventional indifference to the San Francisco real estate debacle.

Open mic for non-members at each stop. Grab your friction fiction, straddle your bike, and revolve!

Starts at City Lights Bookstore, then follows the mews/muse to makeshift literary stop after literary stop.
