Join us for an evening of connection to nature and activities to lessen your impact!
About the film "Albatross": Artist Chris Jordan visited Midway Island in 2009 to photograph the albatrosses that populate the tiny island in the Pacific, thousands of miles from the nearest continent. Jordan would return time and again to Midway on a wildly challenging eight-year odyssey to tell the story of these remarkable birds. Following his shocking photographs of dead albatross chicks and the diet of plastic that killed them, Chris Jordan’s new film is a call to action to repair our broken relationship with planet Earth. There will be discussion after the film. Parents are advised that this film may not be suitable for young children.
