Armistice Day Santa Cruz with Medea Benjamin

The Santa Cruz Chapter of Veterans for Peace welcomes Medea Benjamin to our monthly Armistice Celebration at the Town Clock Park!

November 11th, 2018 will mark the 100th anniversary of the declaration of Armistice Day, and a world without war, at the end of WWI - we celebrate on the 11th of each month as we move toward 11/11/2018 and making Armistice a reality!

The 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day is 11/11/1918. We are developing plans for events each month and a major event on November 11th, 2018.

Medea Benjamin, the cofounder of CodePink and Global Exchange, has served on the National Advisory Board to VFP for many years. Her newest book called “INSIDE IRAN" has just been released, and she has recently returned from the crossing of the DMZ in Korea. She will address the hot spots in the world to be most concerned about today, and what strategies we can embrace to create a lasting peace!
