Location Details:
Koret Auditorium in the Main San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin St (at Grove Street), San Francisco (near the Civic Center BART and Muni Station).

It's a forum--free of charge to the public--featuring Ray McGovern, a CIA analyst for 27 years, now a prominent peace activist, on Sunday, September 30, at the Main San Francisco Public Library.

Other speakers and panelists will be two nuclear experts: Jacqueline Cabasso and Marylia Kelley, the executives respectively of Western States Legal Foundation and Tri-Valley Citizens Against a Radioactive Environment.

Besides tackling the critical question of preventing nuclear war, the program will observe the 50th anniversary of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the first anniversary of the Nuclear Prohibition Treaty, OK'd by 122 nations at the UN last summer.

At 1 p.m. (half an hour before the main event starts), the 20th anniversary of the War and Law League (WALL)--all-volunteer group that opposes presidential war-making as unconstitutional--will be observed.

There will be surprise entertainment.

Cosponsors of the forum are the San Francisco Public Library and the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament.

The Coalition's first event was a lecture by Dr. Helen Caldicott, advocating nuclear abolition, in August 2016. For details (and a list of 15 coalition groups) visit the following site:
