BORN TO DRUM WOMEN’S* CAMP – JULY 19-22
Come Camp Out, Or Join Us For The Day! Located in Bort Meadows in Chabot Regional Park in Oakland, Ca. This will be our 12th year to gather to celebrate our many cultures. We have an incredible faculty! All of these women are Maestra drummers, dancers, musicians, artists, writers and healers from ALL OVER THE WORLD: Congo, Ghana, Peru, Panama, Nicaragua, Harlem, France, Jamaica, US, Native American, African American, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Middle East, West Africa, Venezuela, and more!
We offer a variety of workshops: drum, dance, vocals, movement, yoga, healing, Mother Peace tarot, social justice alliance building, gender identification, poetry, sign language, meditation, and more! We come together in community to share our stories, art, healing and women’s medicine, and FUN. Join us!
SLIDING SCALE: $60-125/day includes overnight
*Women, women identified, gender non-conforming
