One of Darrell Whitman's investigations was Michael Madry who was a Quality Assurance Manager of Test American owned by H.I.G. Capital. This company falsified the testing for bigger profits and when Madry blew the whistle on the company he was bullied and fired. Darrell Whitman who tried to investigate his case was also ordered by his boss OSHA lawyer Joshua Paul to falsify his report on this case. He refused and was later fired by OSHA and the DOL with the support of Tom Perez former DOL Secretary and now chair of the Democratic Party.
