Fundraiser for Sammy Empasis: Haight Street Kid

Hello All,

This is a fundraiser I started for my friend, Sammy Empasis a 63-year-old, OG hippie, blues harmonica virtuoso, impoverished musician and sincere adult. Sammy has been on the streets and in shelters for years dealing with drug abuse and hard times. He's also had close calls with big success and was nearly John Lee Hooker's Harp player. This fundraiser is looking to properly put out Sammy's Debut Record, "The Blues Starts Here", an album nearly 50 years in the making. This will be my first record on my non-profit local Santa Cruz label, Shallow Dive Records which will put out more music by marginalized, diy musicians once this campaign succeeds.
