SYMBOLS OF RESISTANCE is a recent historic documentary about the Chicano movement for self-determination and national liberation. It focuses on our struggle in Colorado. It depicts the student struggle, community struggles, land struggles, struggles against Police brutality and struggles against the Border Patrol.
The film focuses on Los Seis de Boulder, six activists whose lives were cut short by two mysterious explosions, two days apart. The film also touches upon the killing of Luis "Jr" MARTINEZ and the forced political exile of Francisco "KIKO" Martinez.
