Kathryn Lybarger who is president of UC AFSCME 3299 and president of the California AFL-CIO spoke about the attack on the union, the role of privatization and systemic racism.
At a conference on privatization and the attack on public education at SFSU, Kathryn Lybarger who is president of UC AFSCME 3299 and California AFL-CIO president reported on the history of the local. She also reported on the effort to privatize and outsource university services and the systemic racism.

This presentation was made prior to a statewide strike of three unions including CWA UPTE, California Nurses Association are joining the action on May 7-9, 2018.
