3/14/18 School Walkout to Stop School Shootings

by Ban All Guns

By the hundreds of thousands, every school in the country is walking out for 17 minutes at 10 a.m. local time to demand gun control. At this moment, the East Coast has finished their walkout and the center of the country from Chicago to Houston, is ready to roll. The 17 minutes is in honor of the 17 dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, murdered by a 19 year old former student and member of the JROTC, who was trained to be a crack shot despite the fact that the school knew he was mentally ill. Now the state of Florida wants to murder him with their tax dollars, when they should have provided him with mental health care as a child. The death penalty is an eye for an eye, making the whole world blind, and along with all guns, should be abolished.

We need to ban all guns, including the 300 million guns in the hands of the 80 million gun owners in this country, ban the military, ban the police, ban the prison punishment system and ban the death penalty. We also need to ban tasers, pepper spray, tear gas, wooden bullets and all other horrors of the police state. As the country becomes more militarized, the police arsenal becomes more terrifying and must be abolished.

Two-thirds of American schools now have active shooter drills and this has been going on since the 1999 Columbine massacre. Children as young as 5 are told to hide in a classroom and be absolutely quiet, waiting for the horror of an armed thug to pass. In the above cited article, one person stated they would never move to shithole USA because of the guns and the lack of socialized medicine. That's right, we cannot have guns and butter. Here are the areas and countries that have socialized medicine. All of Europe, Israel, Rwanda, Cuba, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, China, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand.

Teachers are participating in this National Student Walkout, including AFT 4999 (Wisconsin). See https://twitter.com/SouleLeah/status/973939386818719744 and https://twitter.com/aft4999

They are walking out to the snow as it is still winter in most of the country.

It is now just past 10 a.m. in the Mountain Time Zone, from Montana to Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
On March 14, 2018, thousands of people, mostly teenagers, rallied at the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza and marched down Market Street to the Embarcadero to protest school shootings. They were escorted by the Democratic Party machine's armed thugs known as the police, who on March 6, 2018, fired 99 shots from 10 cops' guns at Adolfo Jesus Delgado-Duarte, hiding in the trunk of a car, hitting him 25 times, under the pretext of stopping an armed robbery someone had reported. The 10 cops are on paid vacation, courtesy San Francisco taxpayers, who give the police $100,000 a year and up plus benefits. It only takes 1 shot to kill a person. There was no effort to wait until he got hungry or had to go to the bathroom and would be forced to leave the trunk of the car, and could then be questioned about any crime the police think he might have committed. There was no effort to find community members who could talk to him in English and Spanish, as he was raised in the US and had participated in the Boys and Girls Club. For more, see

This is clearly the Democratic Party's gentrification program of the Mission District, and is in direct contradiction to its rhetoric of promoting San Francisco as a sanctuary city. Mr. Delgado-Duarte was hiding because he was an undocumented immigrant.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, we all get to protest school shootings, and the use of all guns everywhere including but not limited to the police and the military, both of which are supported by the Democrat-Republicans. Both the police and the military should be banned. The Florida shooter of February 14, 2018, Nikolas Cruz, was trained by the military program, JROTC, at the Douglas High School where he killed 17 and injured 15, some seriously, and the military as well as the school knew he was mentally ill. Yet both the school and the military allowed Cruz to be trained to kill, and he became a crack shot. This is a good opportunity to link school shootings to the police state and the mass murder promoted by the military around the world. There should be a labor contingent at the March 24, 2018 rally since the teachers' unions have endorsed this event.

Ban All Guns, Ban the Police, Ban the Military, Ban the Death Penalty, Ban the Prison Punishment System, Ban tasers, tear gas, pepper spray, wooden bullets and all other terrorist, lethal weapons.
