The Human Rights Working Group of 1st UU SF presents a screening of the film Whose Streets? an early tribute to the upcoming 50th Anniversary of MLK's murder. Just as the Montgomery Boycott 60 years earlier gave birth to the Civil Rights Movement and the prominence of Martin Luther King, the film Whose Streets? depicts the birth of the Black Lives Matter movement by the defiance of the people of Ferguson in the wake of a brutal shooting of Michael Brown.

Before and after the screening there will be comments from Kimberley Jade Norwood lawyer and author of the book" Ferguson's Fault Lines : The Quake That-Rocked the Nation" from St. Louis.
