Food Not Bombs Planning Meeting

Date:
Tuesday, March 13, 2018
Time:
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Event Type:
Meeting
Organizer/Author:
Gregory Stevens
Location Details:
Antonio's Nut House (321 S. California Ave., Palo Alto) Look for a table with the Food Not Bombs logo.

On Tuesday, March 13th at 6PM we will gather at Antonio's Nut House (321 S. California Ave.) to plan our Food Not Bombs meal-share and direct action. This event is hosted by Mosaic South Bay as we seek to transform our faith and/or ethics into action!

What kinds of vegan and vegetarian meals would you like to help cook? Do you have a vehicle we could use to transport food, tables, and chairs? Where might we source food from - are there any restaurants or grocery stores you know of that would be willing to give?

"The mission of Food Not Bombs is to recover and shares free vegan or vegetarian food with the public without restriction to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment. Each of our over 1,000 groups is independent making decisions using the consensus process. Food Not Bombs is also dedicated to taking nonviolent direct action to change society so no one is forced to stand in line to eat at a soup kitchen expressing a commitment to the fact that food is a right and not a privilege. With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?"

Let's create the world we know is possible!
