Kresge Seminar Room (159) is on the second floor of the Kresge College Office, overlooking the Piazzetta. Accessible by stairs or elevator. Nearby parking (metered and handicap) Lot 143 / 145 (meter is $2.25 per hour for up to 2 hours).

Join Kresge College's 4th Media and Society lecture this year on Tuesday, March 6th at the Kresge Seminar Room (upstairs overlooking the Piazzetta). Conn Hallinan, former Kresge Provost and faculty leader of the UCSC journalism minor for 22 years, will speak on the history of struggles in the U.S. and around the world to nurture the "free" press, and to confront all that that freedom entails. Professor Hallinan has written for The Nation, Foreign Policy in Focus, and he blogs at Dispatches from the Edge.
