Sacramento, California ~ Join us as we celebrate the 170th Anniversary of the California Gold Rush, to close Sacramento Black History Month and prepare for a positive way forward.
Together, we are growing a broad based team effort to discover, research, document, and preserve the role of the Black Church (1840-1875) to include the California State Library, California State Archives, Sacramento Public Library and additional stakeholders.
Our unique collective interfaith community supported our historic journey toward a greater measure of freedom, best reflected through the wide lens of our broader California Pan African Heritage.
It is time for our "Hidden Figures" to come alive by showcasing our amazing contributions during the California Gold Rush Era.
We will seek International, National and Regional and Local contributions towards fueling education, inspiration, imagination and prosperity for the next 7 generations, seeking a greater measure of freedom by mining for gold and growing crops in our regional communities.
