Racism and state repression of the Black community has its origins in the very founding of the United States. From the early slave patrols to the organized police forces of today, the role of these repressive forces has always served to maintain the status quo of the ruling elite and to target the most oppressed communities and divide the working class. Hear from anti-police brutality organizer and Los Angeles member of the PSL, Andrew Nance, on the lessons of the past and building the fightback movement against racist police terror today.
