There was a very high turnout, in the thousands.
The crowd rallied in a parking lot adjacent the 41 Freeway, then marched on sidewalks in the Blackstone Ave. commercial area.

Thousands turned out and Fresno pigs made people march on sidewalks? That sucks.
In order to have an organized march on either a street or sidewalk in the City of Fresno, a special event permit has to be obtained from the City. Organizers are usually required to pay for any traffic control or police resources required to keep the event safe.
