AFGE Secretary Treasurer has been removed for the second time by AFGE President Cox even though he had a court order that his removal had been illegal.

In the last government shut down all national parks were closed creating an angry backlash against the government for closing the national parks.
AFGE members protested the last shut down but no national protests were called by either AFGE unions or the national AFL-CIO
AFGE National Secretary Treasurer Eugene Hudson Jr. spoke at a press conference about his run for president. He was fired by President Cox and got his job back under court order. He has now been fired again by President Cox for the second time.
All social security offices will be shut down in the government closure. The Congress is also cutting $500 million from social security that will make it increasingly difficult for sign up to social security and getting benefits for millions.
