SANTA ROSA WOMEN'S RALLY/GATHERING 2018

DATE & TIME: Saturday, January 20 @ 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM PST

WHERE: Old Courthouse Square, 4th Street & Mendocino Ave. & Santa Rosa Ave., Santa Rosa 95404

PRE-RALLY sign making: Brew Coffee and Beer House, 555 Healdsburg Avenue, prior to the event @ 8:30am - 9:45am

With all that has happened in Santa Rosa over the past few months, it sometimes takes just one person to ask why something is not happening to make it happen. Thanks to Alisse of Brew Coffee & Beer for asking the question and rallying the troops!

Join us from 10:00am – 11:30am for a Women's Gathering and Rally in Downtown Santa Rosa - Courthouse Square where we will have key speakers, music, community groups tabling and a few children's activities.

We will not be marching along the downtown streets, but we do invite you to join us at Brew Coffee and Beer House at 555 Healdsburg Avenue, prior to the event (8:30am - 9:45am) to make your own sign*, have some coffee, something to nosh on and then walk to Courthouse Square remaining on the sidewalks - volunteers will be available to direct pedestrians.

After the gathering, we invite everyone to the Welcome Roseland Community Celebration from 12 – 4pm at 779 Roseland Ave. in the Roseland Village Neighborhood Center. Or head over to a Women’s March that afternoon in Sonoma or San Francisco.

All are welcome and encouraged to come – bring family, friends, neighbors and enjoy. The history of the Sonoma County Courthouse that once stood in Courthouse Square includes peaceful protests, rallies and gatherings – this will carry on that tradition in our newly reunified Courthouse Square!

STAY TUNED to this FB event page for a list of all our speakers and participating organizations to be announced.

Our event will happen light rain or shine … we will keep an eye on the weather and keep you updated here.
