WOMEN'S MARCH ANNIVERSARY: POWER TO THE POLLS
2018 NATIONAL MARCH & RALLY in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
DATE AND TIME: Sunday, January 21, 2018 @ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
WHERE: Las Vegas, NV https://www.facebook.com/events/402968803470834/
Join Women's March organizers, partners, artists and activists in Las Vegas, Nevada, for our one-year anniversary! Thousands of women, femmes and allies will come together again to celebrate one year of resistance and to launch our collective 2018 Women’s March agenda: Power to the Polls.
From the Women’s March to the Women’s Convention, we’ve seen how powerful we are when we gather together, share space and lift each other up. Join us in Las Vegas as we prepare to take that power to the polls.
Nevada has recent experience with some of the most pressing issues facing women in our nation today, from gun violence to politicians accused of sexual assault. As a swing-state that will shape the Senate in 2018 and as home to a strong activist network, Nevada is the perfect place to commemorate the Women’s March and continue building our electoral power.
This anniversary event will kick-off a national voter registration and mobilization tour targeting swing states to register new voters, engage impacted communities, harness our collective energy to advocate for policies and candidates that reflect our values and collaborate with our partners to elect more women and progressives candidates to office.
