Call SF Bd of Supes for Marijuana: We Voted 75% for It

by Phone Time
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors, all Democrats, is currently doing everything they can to oppose the 75% of San Francisco voters who voted for Prop 64, the marijuana initiative, of November 2016. We need your phone calls, Emails and faxes now to demand enforcement of Prop 64 with marijuana stores everywhere in San Francisco.
The Board is catering to the 25% fascist vote in San Francisco that is not cultural; this reactionary gang promotes the same old anti-marijuana lies we have always heard. Chinatown, the home of alternative medicines, is being proposed by "liberal" Sup. Aaron Peskin as being exempt from marijuana stores, an outrageous and ridiculous proposal. Marijuana stores should be at least as common as Walgreen's and CVS Pharmacy, and better yet, more so.

The Board is trying to extend the no-marijuana zone around schools, a despicable, phony catering to the 25% fascist vote. The doctor gives us opium derivative prescription cough medicine and the dentist gives us opium derivative tranquilizers. The so-called protection of school children is an insult.

When reactionary former Supervisor Scott Wiener, now Democrat State Senator, sounds sane in his staunch support of marijuana and all except Supervisor Jeff Sheehy sound insane in their support of the 25% fascist vote against marijuana, either we have marijuana everywhere in San Francisco or the entire Board of Supervisors except Sheehy should resign since they refuse to represent us.

A major victory has been won by a 12 year old girl with epilepsy in her court case to legalize medical marijuana which the court refused to dismiss. She is being successfully treated with marijuana. The case is Washington v Sessions, USDC, S.D.N.Y. No. 17 CIV 5625 at https://www.fitsnews.com/themencode-pdf-viewer-sc/?tnc_pvfw=ZmlsZT1odHRwczovL3d3dy5maXRzbmV3cy5jb20vd3AtY29udGVudC91cGxvYWRzLzIwMTcvMDcvQ29tcGxhaW50LVdhc2hpbmd0b24tQm9ydGVsbC1CZWxlbi1Db3R0ZS1DQ0EtdnMucGRmJnNldHRpbmdzPTExMTExMTAxMSZsYW5nPWVuLVVT#page=&zoom=auto&pagemode=

Alexis Bortell had to move from her home in Texas to Colorado where, as now in California, marijuana is legal, so she could receive Haleigh's Hope, a strain of cannabis oil. She has not had any seizures for 2.5 years. For more, see https://www.rt.com/usa/409529-girl-sues-sessions-medical-marijuana/

Meanwhile, here in San Francisco, the county that led the state in voting 75% for legalizing marijuana in November 2016, which will be legal in California on January 1, 2018, the so-called "progressive" Democrats on the 11 member Board of Supervisors, all Democrats, claim that they cannot abide by the wishes of 75% of the voters because the organized crime Chinese Six Companies terrorist gang, a business organization that has nothing to do with any culture or nationality, does not want marijuana in our city. This was stated in today's free local daily rag, the Examiner.

San Francisco is awash in alcohol and will never return to prohibition of alcohol. The same must be true of marijuana. From the Bay to the Beach, from the Golden Gate Bridge to McLaren Park, in all 11 Supervisorial Districts, in every empty store, with no more than the 600 feet near grammar schools exempted as per Proposition 64, marijuana should be available. PEOPLE HAVE PAID WITH THEIR LIVES TO LEGALIZE MARIJUANA AND WE WILL NOT GO BACK TO THE BAD OLD DAYS OF THE PRISON PIPELINE MADE POSSIBLE BY ALLOWING MARIJUANA TO BE ILLEGAL.

Call, Email or fax all 11 members of the Board of Supervisors before 11/13/17, the date of the vote on areas allowed to have marijuana stores. The supervisors who have expressed support for marijuana being everywhere are Jeff Sheehy, Malia Cohen and Hillary Ronen. The rest need the wake up call that 75% of the voters want marijuana everywhere starting January 1, 2018.
