Amazon, Health & Safety, OSHA & Collusion: Fired Wisconsin Amazon Worker Jason Stolarik Speaks Out
Amazon Wisconsin worker Jason Storalik began to see serious health and safety problems at the Wisconsin warehouse center and reported them to management and eventually OSHA. The Amazon bosses fired him for making health and safety complaints and then OSHA refused to do a serious investigation of his complaints and his retaliation. One of the OSHA officials Ken Atha who was responsible for oversight of OSHA in his region had previously been involved in the bullying and termination of OSHA Whistleblower Protection Program investigator and lawyer Darrell Whitman who was prevented from investigating and protecting OSHA whistleblowers.
This presentation was made at the Workers Solidarity Action Network conference at UAW 551 in Chicago Illinois on 10/7/17.
