This September broke temperature records (yet again) as well as multiple hurricane records. The real and ongoing human suffering caused by global warming is undeniable; violent hurricanes are made more intense and more likely by global warming. From Puerto Rico to Cuba, from Florida to Texas, the violence of global warming is at our doorstep right now. Especially with the dire situation in Puerto Rico today the need for a reduction in greenhouse gases is more obvious than ever.

We are in control and it is time for us to take responsibility for our own carbon emissions. Please join the 8th annual stop driving boycott and take at least four days (11th-14th) every month as an opportunity to cut back on your carbon pollution, and use alternative methods of transportation such as walking, bicycling, or public transportation.

Spread the word, and help this boycott grow. Boycott the automobile industry and oil industry!
